Siri is
available in dozens of languages throughout the world. Just like you can change Siri's gender,
you can also change its language. This is a great feature to remember if you or
someone you know lives in a bi-lingual home, or if your iPhone or iPad didn't
come out of the box with Siri programmed to your native language.
How to switch the language for Siri on your iPhone and iPad
- Tap the Settings icon on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on General.
- Tap on Siri.
- Tap on Language.
- Select the language you'd like Siri to not only understand, but speak to you
Go ahead and close out Settings. You can now start using
Siri with the new language you've selected.
